A 100,000 sq ft headquarters benchmarked in three hours
ML10 produced a detailed cleaning specification for CBRE's 100,000 sq ft, seven-floor UK headquarters, capturing 9,400 assets. The conventional route was one surveyor on site for a full day followed by two days writing the specification — three days in total. With ML10 it took three hours, and cost £500 against £1,500.
| Metric | Conventional route | With ML10 |
|---|---|---|
| Time to specification | 3 days | 3 hours |
| Cost | £1,500 | £500 |
| Assets captured | Not captured | 9,400 |

What this replaced
The point worth noticing is the third row of that table. The conventional route produces a cleaning specification and nothing else; the two days of survey effort leave behind a document and no data.
The ML10 recording produces the specification and an asset capture of 9,400 items from the same walk-through, at a third of the cost. The asset data is then available for contract pricing, maintenance planning and the next benchmark without anyone going back to site.
Outcome
A cleaning specification produced in an afternoon rather than across a working week, with an asset capture of the whole headquarters as a by-product of the same recording.
